New rapid method (quick-test) for herbicide efficacy assessment

The right choice and application of herbicides do ensure their maximum efficacy and adequate weed control.
"Unfortunately, the repeated and often wrong use of herbicides along with the absence of suitable agronomic practices often lead to their reduced efficacy and the development of resistant weed biotypes. So, it is crucial and of economic interest to the farmers to have a quick and reliable tool in order to ensure the application of the suitable plant protection product and avoid additional costs and economic losses" states the President of the Hellenic Weed Science Society & Board Member of the European Weed Research Society, Prof. Travlos.
