Rapid method for the in-situ evaluation of herbicides' performance

The main objectives of this research project were funded by CORTEVA AGRISCIENCES and coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Ilias Travlos (AUA).
1) the development and optimization of a rapid method for the in-situ evaluation of the herbicide efficacy and the management of possible resistant cases in wheat, maize and rice and
2) the timely and accurate recommendations to the farmers and the agronomists of each specific area. In many cases, rapid “on time” recommendations have been provided to farmers and agronomists by means of our method. This information is very important since it gives the perspective to act timely without risking the cost of a failed treatment.
