Alternative weed management methods

In the context of integrated and agroecological weed management priority is given to alternative weed management methods. Cultural practices like false seedbed, crop rotation, intercropping and cover crops, and various mechanical, thermal and biological methods are studied, combined and optimized by WEST against noxious, competitive, resistant and invasive weed species in a wide range of pedoclimatic conditions and weed pressure levels.
